Turn the real world
into a reward hunt.
Snatch is a Snapchat-style AR treasure-hunt platform where brands launch measurable real-world campaigns, users create social hunts, and top players become local distribution.
Attention is Expensive, Interruption Fails
Consumers skip feeds, block pop-ups, and mute ads. Marketers struggle to link digital spend to offline store traffic and real-world behavior.
Make the Brand the Prize
When rewards are hidden around a city, users transition from passive viewers to active explorers. They seek out and chase campaigns instead of avoiding them.
The Three-Layer Wedge Network
Campaign Studio: Paid merchant drop engine.
Quick Hunt:
C2C social loops.
Snatch Mode: An always-on game layer
that keeps players engaged between campaigns.

User App • Sponsored Hunt Flow
This demo showcases how a player discovers, approaches, and snatches the sponsored campaign launched in the Campaign Studio. Note the live sync: launching the Nike Sneaker hunt triggers it on the mobile device!
Core Player Journey
- 1. Discover: The player sees a holographic Nike sneaker floating in their camera view, pinned to a specific geofenced location in Soho.
- 2. Approach: Tapping the item opens the proximity tracker. The distance meter shows how many meters away the prize is. The player must walk closer.
- 3. Snatch: Once within range (< 25m), the glowing "SNATCH IT" trigger becomes active. Clicking it locks the reward.
- 4. Wallet: The reward lands in the wallet with its corresponding redemption barcode/code, driving the user directly in-store or online.
VC Pitch Angle
Traditional location check-ins are boring. Snatch makes the brand drop feel like high-fidelity video gameplay (like finding rare chest loot in RPGs) while maintaining zero friction.
Quick Hunt • Social Loop (C2C)
The social engine of Snatch. Quick Hunts are lightweight, user-generated campaigns. Users hide digital boxes or real-world prizes for their friends, offices, campuses, or communities, driving organic viral growth.
Quick Hunt Flow Stages
1. Configure Details
User specifies name ("Campus Coffee Hunt"), prize ("Starbucks for the winner"), visibility parameters, and duration limit.
2. Geotag & Drop
User switches on camera, places the holographic Starbucks cup on the floor, and writes a location hint ("Near the lounge").
3. Invite & Rally
App generates a unique QR Code and join code ("CAMPUS25"). Friends scanning the code join the live crew lobby instantly.
4. The Player Hunt
Invited players follow the clue, track their distance indicator on the camera screen, scan the area, and snatch the prize.
C2C Viral Wedge
Sponsored brand drops fund the ecosystem, but Quick Hunts drive daily organic traffic. One user creating a hunt invites 5-10 friends, turning players into active recruiters.
Snatch Mode • Core Gamification
The always-on retention layer. When there are no sponsored campaigns active, Snatch Mode allows players to level up, upgrade radar range/abilities, and compete for regional dominance on the SoHo leaderboard.
Progression Mechanics
-
XP & Levels: Earn experience points with every successful hunt. Leveling up unlocks premium drops and advanced tools.
-
Scan Radius Upgrades: Use ability points earned to increase radar pulse range, revealing hidden rewards further away.
-
Status Badges: Earning badges like "Fast Finder" or "Local Legend" validates user activity and unlocks exclusive vendor collaborations.
Ecosystem Retention
Snatch Mode turns physical walking routes into a reward gathering grid. Users build daily routine habits around the app, maintaining high retention rates that keep the network liquid.
Local Ambassadors • Distribution Scaling
How Snatch scales distribution without massive advertising costs. The top 1% of players in any district are recruited as "Snatch Ambassadors." They are equipped with campaign builder tools to seed games, create local drops, and recruit players.
Ambassador Value Proposition
Ambassador Status Perks
Top regional players receive exclusive early-access reward drops from brands, custom status badges, and cash/points rewards for seeding user traffic.
Activation Playbook
Brands partner with local ambassadors to launch campaigns. Ambassadors act as regional community managers, ensuring immediate user activation and high completion metrics.
Network Micro-Communities
Instead of high-CAC digital campaigns, Snatch taps into physical density. Local campus clubs, bars, and communities organize weekly hunts led by ambassadors.
